TREK Synergy 2025 Scholarship Application Deadline
January 31
Apply for the TREK Synergy 2025 Scholarship by January 31st!
WHO: Youth ages 10-17 with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are not actively involved with another funding source (such as DMH, DDS, or DCF). This scholarship will have four Recipients chosen randomly from eligible applicants. These Recipients will then go through the normal Adventure-based programming intake process. (If you are actively involved with a program that will fund participation and want to learn more about TREK Synergy, contact TREK@LUK.org.)
WHAT: TREK Synergy is an adaptive Adventure-Based program for neurodivergent youth, with activities like rock climbing, sledding, winter hikes, local field trips, and more! This program is focused on acquiring pro-social skills and positive peer interactions, as well as learning new skills and activities.
WHEN: Deadline to apply is January 31st. TREK Synergy 2025 sessions run Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM during MA School Vacation weeks in February and April, and for one week in June (exact dates TBD). When you apply, you can choose your first and second choice of weeks.
WHERE: Application forms can be found on the LUK Consumer Forms page and should be sent to TREK@luk.org. Most youth launch from our Boylston Site, or are picked up at one of our Fitchburg offices (get the LUK location addresses here). We are able to do some limited transportation for clients if needed.
If you have any questions about the program, a youth’s eligibility, transportation options, what support youth get during this adaptive adventure-based program, and more, contact us at TREK@luk.org or call 800-579-000 and ask to speak to TREK. We are here to help you figure out if this is a good option for a youth in your life. We can also help you get started if you are a part of a program like DCF, DDS, or DMH that might pay for you to participate.
