About Adult Mental Health First Aid

Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) is a training course that teaches everyday people how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges or crises in adults. It gives you the tools to offer initial support and connect someone to professional help if needed. Just like physical first aid, AMHFA is not about diagnosing or treating, but helping in the moment. It’s great for anyone in the community who wants to support friends, neighbors, coworkers, or loved ones.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to Training@LUK.org with any questions!
*This training is free in Nashoba Valley thanks in part to the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts.*
