A Message from LUK, Inc. January 2025

At LUK, we work to create communities that are safe, healthy and resilient.

Part of this work is to keep the pulse on the needs and worries of the people in our community. In the past week, we have heard and felt anxiety from many different spaces. LUK stands for “Let Us Know,” and we appreciate that both our staff and those they work with are sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings about the changes going on nationally and in the world. What we try to offer is a listening ear as a means for a person to let go of their pain and have another person hold it even for a short time. We also work to find helpful resources so that our staff, consumers and community partners have information to assist them to find their path through challenging situations. At LUK, we wanted to share some resources today that we have found useful given the tone, language and images we have heard over the past week. We hope these will be helpful in your journey. We also continue to want to be a resource to those in need. If you are in need of services, you can reach us at Info@LUK.org or visit www.LUK.org.
