Overdose Lifeline: Free Training
This FREE Overdose Lifeline training equips individuals with essential skills to respond to opioid overdoses effectively. Participants learn how to recognize the signs of overdose, administer naloxone (a medication that reverses opioid overdoses), and provide life-saving support until professional medical help arrives. This training empowers communities to combat the opioid crisis by enabling fast and informed responses to overdose emergencies. People attending the training will also get a free naloxone overdose response kit, complete with Personal Protective equipment, naloxone, and instructions.
This in-person training at the LUK Main Office is recommended for ages 16+. Registration is required. Please email NODE@LUK.org to register, or call 800-579-0000 and ask for NODE.
Presented by LUK’s Community Training Academy and LUK’s NODE (Naloxone Outreach for Drug Emergencies) program. LUK is a Community Naloxone Program (CNP) site, providing free naloxone through the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH).
