The Intersection of MassHealth and Immigration: Workshop with HLA

February 11 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Learn about how the many kinds of immigration statuses impact MassHealth eligibility at this virtual workshop with Health Law Advocates!

MassHealth can be confusing, especially when there are different eligibility guidelines, paperwork requirements, and types of coverage. In this workshop, you’ll learn how different populations can get access to the benefits and comprehensive coverage that’s right for them. Whether you’re a professional who wants to help clients, a community member interested in learning more about how our healthcare system works, or someone looking to take charge of your own healthcare, this workshop is for you!

This workshop is accessible in both English and Spanish.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Please email FamiliesConnected@LUK.org to register, or if you have any questions. The Zoom link will be sent to registered participants, and posted here, the morning of the event.

As a healthcare provider, meetings held on LUK’s Zoom account are secure and HIPAA compliant, and participants are welcome to join without being logged in to a Zoom account for privacy.

This event is intended for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as their families and/or caretakers, living in North Central MA. This event is funded in part by the DDS North Central Area Office. For questions about eligibility, contact FamiliesConnected@LUK.org
