EcoYouth Workshop Series: Green Futures

June 21 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

UPDATED: Green Futures: Sustainable Careers and Forest Skills

June 21, 9am-noon, Fitchburg MA, Hosted by WCYAB and Anthony Brogno

Join us for a resume-building workshop and panel discussion designed to explore opportunities in the environmental field. Network with professionals from diverse sustainable sectors and hear firsthand about pathways into these careers. Afterwards, we will drive over to Crocker Conservation Area to walk the trails. Here we will learn the basics of wilderness survival and forest living with expedition leader, Anthony Brogno. Topics will include hands-on skills like shelter-building and staying safe in the woods.

This event is part of LUK’s Youth Action Board’s EcoYouth Workshop Series. The goal of EcoYouth is to make local outdoor areas, nature skills, and environmental careers more accessible by exploring these topics with youth 18-24 who are at-risk or have experienced housing problems.
