Senior Family Partner of Flexible Support Services (Fitchburg) - Recommended Qualifications: Lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a youth with significant social, emotional, behavioral health, medical or trauma-related needs and who is also experienced in navigating child and family-serving systems. Associate’s Degree and one year of experience working with the target population; or a high school diploma/GED and at least two years of experience working with the target population (DMH involved youth and families). Must have at least one year of experience providing supervision and/or one additional year working as a Family Partner. Responsibilities include: working collaboratively with the family’s team, Teaching the parent/caregiver how to navigate the child-serving systems and build supportive relationships with providers, sharing their own story with purpose and intent to encourage hope, Identify available services and  formal and informal supports in the community, Develop connections with self-help or support groups, Supporting and coaching the parent/caregiver in reaching goals, Collaborate with the youth, young adult, and family, treatment providers, school, and other service providers to ensure cohesive treatment, and coach/model for the parent/caregiver on behavior management.
