LUK’s Bridge program has the capacity to provide placement and interventions services to nine children. Primarily the Bridge program is available to DCF eligable youth from zero (0) to twelve (12) years of age, and their families. Youth may present with a variety of special medical, physical, and/or emotional needs and a range of symptomatic behaviors. The need for placement may be in response to crisis or other stressors, to alleviate immediate risk of harm, as a transitional "step-down" from another level of care or as planned respite. DCF through the process of a family team meeting will determine the youth's appropriateness for this community based level care.
