Therapeutic Mentoring services provide a child with one-on-one relationship with a therapeutic mentor to support and coach the child to learn daily living skills, social skills, and better ways to interact with both peers and adults. Therapeutic Mentoring Services are provided to youth in any setting where the youth resides, such as the home (including foster homes), and in other community settings (e.g., school, child care centers, respite settings, and other culturally and linquistically appropriate community settings). Therapeutic Mentoring is designed to enhance the progress of treatment outcomes of the family's treatment plan through the Individual Care Plan (ICP).
